PRESIDENT’S STATEMENT ON 9-11
The Iron Crew Motorcycle Club offers our sincere and heart felt condolences to the family and friends of the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. The innocent men, women and children who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania were true American heroes and will always be remembered in our hearts and in our prayers. The self less and courageous acts, evidenced by the phrase “…Let’s Roll…” embody the dauntless spirit upon which our Great Nation was founded. The Police Officers, Firefighters, EMT’s, Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Government Employees, Pilots, Flight Attendants, Financial Workers, Tourists, Janitors, Husbands, Wives, Children and all other Citizens who made the ultimate sacrifice on that fateful day are all of equal stature as symbols of the American Spirit. Now is the time for us as Americans to come together in our fight against the forces of evil, both domestically and abroad. Lets not let the loss of these cherished souls be for naught. Instead lets resolve to never again let such a tragedy befall our citizens and our beloved homeland, a homeland that affords us the Freedom and Liberty we hold so dear. All members of the Iron Crew Motorcycle Club proudly wear a patch bearing the date “091101”. The embroidery is in black to memorialize the victims. We wear this patch upside down, similar to the established military practice of flying the United States flag upside down at an installation or upon a vessel in times of distress or siege.
