The Iron Crew Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is a professional, fraternal association comprised of active and retired Law Enforcement Officers who live the passion of riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Our association and its Members maintain the highest level of professionalism, dedication and commitment to God, Country, Family, the Law Enforcement Profession and our Club.
As a Law Enforcement association we demand professional excellence from our Members both on and off duty. Our Membership standards are extremely high and our selection and screening process vigorous. We are a small, elite Corps of the “Best of the Best” our Nation’s Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies have produced.
Jonathan Bowling dedicated his life to the service of others.
As a Police Officer and Firefighter he would without hesitation place himself in harm’s way to protect members of his community.
As an Elder in his Church Jon would counsel members of his congregation in their time of need.
By enlisting in the United States Marine Corps Jon placed the needs of his country over those of his own.
Tragically, he made the ultimate sacrifice for the causes of freedom.
Jon’s life serves as a shining example to us all, particularly segments of our Nation’s younger generation, where self-absorption seems to prevail over of a sense of Duty and Honor.
Jon’s consistent selfless dedication to the service of others and his courageous acts of Heroism and Valor in combat can be attributed in part to his upbringing; can be attributed in part to his training and can be attributed in part to his gift.
For Jonathan truly possessed the gift of Giving.
There is no doubt that Jonathan Bowling easily qualifies for Membership in the IRON CREW Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.
He possesses all the traits that are the hallmark of our Membership;
Maturity, Loyalty, Respect, Honor and Dignity.
A man of Jon’s caliber would surely be a tremendous asset to our association.
The Bowling Family has reared a fine young man. They can seek solace in the fact that their beloved son and brother reflects credit upon himself and his Family, and reflects credit upon the great citizens of Patrick County Virginia.
His gallant actions uphold the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and United States Naval Service.

NOW, THEREFORE, by authority of our National Executive Board
JONATHAN WILLIAMS BOWLING
Is hereby posthumously inducted as a Member of the Iron Crew Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club to rank as such the 26th day of January in the year of our Lord 2005.
