The Members of our New York Chapter have all met my personal friend and long time IRON CREW MC Supporter Tommy Bivona.

Most of our many New York Friends and Supporters have met him as well.

For the benefit of all our Members, Friends and Supporters across the United States and soon the World, and the thousands of visitors to our web site each year please allow me to introduce this fine young man to all of you.

I met Tommy in 1994. Tommy works at the Brookhaven-Calabro Airport, which was my relief point when I was in Uniform Patrol with the Suffolk County Police Department.

Tommy and I both share the passion for motorcycling. Even though Tommy rode a 200 mph Japanese land rocket and not a Harley we struck up a friendship regardless.

In the early days of our web site Tommy would help me with our photos and such and soon became a well liked and valued asset to our organization. Tommy is present at many of our local events where he takes photos. Tommy even shot our first IRON CREW MC video.

As time went by Tommy eventually settled down and started a family. The first toy to go was his motorcycle – LOL!

In December of 2004 Tommy and his lady Janice were blessed with their first child, a boy they named Riley.

Riley was born with a birth defect called Goldenhar's Syndrome, also known as Hemifacial Microsomia. Goldenhar's Syndrome is a rare birth defect.

Tommy and Janice have been taking Riley to see a Craniofacial team at NYU Medical Center in New York City which consists of a plastic surgeon, an ear, nose, and throat Doctor, a pediatric dentist as well as an Orthodontist, an Otologist, Speech Therapist, and a few others they haven't met yet. Riley also has regular visits with a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and his Pediatrician. At times this is a bit overwhelming for Tommy and Janice, but with much research and personal recommendations they feel very confident with this team of doctors.

Unfortunately some of these doctors do not participate with their insurance companies so they are required to cover large medical bills up front. As a result, some of Riley's closest friends and family members have started "The Smiley Riley Fund". It is a Non-Profit Organization that will be used to offset some of the bills they will incur.

We in the IRON CREW Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club would like to do our part in appreciation for all the Support and dedication Tommy has shown our organization over the years.

Please visit http://www.smileforriley.com to learn more about Riley and his proud parents Tommy and Janice.

For every contribution received of $50.00 or more the IRON CREW Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club will provide the donor with a free IRON CREW MC Supporter tee shirt.

Sincerely,
